The National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) is a non‐profit professional society dedicated to advancing the field of research administration through education and professional development programs, and by the sharing of knowledge and experience. NCURA has over 7,000 members from over 900 colleges, universities, teaching hospitals and research institutes.

APRE is a non‐profit research organisation based in Italy that provides information, assistance and training in order to promote Italian participation on European Research and Technological Development programmes. APRE was created upon the joint initiative of the Italian Ministry of Research and the European Commission in 1989 and is supported by approximately 100 member organisations, including both public and private research centres, industries, industrial associations, banks, chambers of commerce, science parks and 50 universities.

The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) is the national funding agency for industrial R&D, applied science and innovation in Austria. As a "one‐stop shop" offering a diversified and targeted programme portfolio, the FFG gives Austrian businesses and research facilities quick and uncomplicated access to research funding. The FFG offers a tailor‐made service package for preparing, submitting and implementing Austrian researchers’ projects in European and international research & technology programmes. FFG hosts all “National Contact Points” nominated for the specific programmes of the H2020, the EUREKA National Project Coordinator and the contact point for the Enterprise Europe Network, national contact point for COST Programme.

Inno TSD, located in Sophia Antipolis, France, is part of inno group, an EU‐based innovation and technology transfer consultancy with headquarters in Germany, employing approx. 60 staff. inno specialises in innovation and technology transfer, university‐industry cooperation, innovation start‐ups and development, cluster and SMEs internationalisation, IPR support (inno runs a public‐private partnership, a patent commercialisation agency in Germany) and in international cooperation in innovation and S&T.

Europa Media is an independent, non‐profit SME active in European Union affairs, in particular in EU research and innovation policies, programmes and projects. Established in 2003, Europa Media has been working to effectively gather and spread dispersed and complex information on EU policies, funding opportunities and programmes in a streamlined and simplified manner to potential stakeholders in Europe and worldwide. With this mission, we have developed, launched and publicised a variety of information sources and tools including web‐based platforms, online and offline publications and organised local and international events. Over the past 12 years, Europa Media has actively participated in EU‐funded research and innovation projects as coordinator or partner in a broad range of fields.

ZSI (Centre for Social Innovation) is a private non‐profit research organisation, established in 1990. The main funders and clients are ministries, municipalities, EC, OECD, ILO, other public bodies and NGOs. ZSI performs project‐based agency functions for the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW) in promotion and support of international STI cooperation. The Broad Institute is a biomedical and genomic research center located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. The institute is independently governed and supported as a non‐profit research organization. It further partners with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, and the five Harvard teaching hospitals. The Foundation for Research and Technology‐Hellas (FORTH), established in 1983, is one of the largest research centres in Greece with well‐organized facilities, highly qualified personnel and a reputation as a top‐level research foundation worldwide. FORTH is an organisation with vast experience in implementing framework programs holding currently the 15th place, among all European RTOs, in terms of participation in FP7 projects. PRAXI Network is a specific unit of FORTH created from a strategic alliance of the Research and the Industrial world in Greece. PRAXI Network operates in the fields of technology transfer and international cooperation addressing small and medium sized enterprises and research institutions all over Greece.

Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) is an international consulting firm, created in 1997, with the mission of managing projects which foster innovation and promote international opportunities, promoting the creation of strategic partnerships when appropriate. SPI positions itself as a unique catalyst for connections among companies, scientific and technological institutions, public bodies, and public and private national and international organisations. The Miami‐Florida European Union Center of Excellence, (MEUCE) is a consortium of Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Miami (UM), established in the Fall of 2001. The Miami‐Florida EUCE, is a member of the Network of European Union Centers (www.euce.org). Currently, there are eight European Union Centers of Excellence in the US. Their goals are to promote the study of the EU, its institutions and policies and EU‐US relations through teaching programs, scholarly research and outreach activities in local and regional communities. The mission of the Miami‐Florida EUCE, is to promote teaching, research, and outreach activities relating to the EU.
