The 2016 U.S.-EU: Bridging NanoEHS Research Efforts joint workshop organized in Washington DC at the NSF premises on 6-7 June 2016. The workshop brought together the U.S.- EU Communities of Research (CORs), which serve as a platform for American and European scientists to share information on nanoEHS research. This was the 5th event in a series of joint nanoEHS workshops organized by the U.S. National Nanotechnology Initiative and the European Commission.
On the second day, Berna Windischbaur from Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) has made a presentation about BILAT USA 4.0 and its activities.
BILAT USA 4.0 aims to foster EU-US collaboration in the priority areas for major partner countries /regions identified by the European Commission in its Road Maps for International cooperation.
In accordance with this aim, BILAT USA 4.0 will organize a EU-U.S. Nano EHS workshop titled “Enabling a Sustainable Harmonised Knowledge Infrastructure supporting Nano Environmental and Health Safety Assessment “ in Basel on 24 October 2016 in collaboration with ENanoMapper and OpenTox Europe and back to back with Nano Modelling workshop (25 October) and OpenTox Euro 2016 Conference (26-28 October).
